Dear Casunik members and friends,

The ballot count on 7th October 2017, I would like to announce the results of the voting for the Casunik President from the ballot papers presented at the AGM on 16th September 2017:

• There are 121 members and 102 votes casted (84%).
• 47 members voted in person, with 16 proxies, equating to 63 votes. In this category, the vote splits are 40 for Mrs Sobopha Owen and 23 for Mr Mea Bou.
• 11 postal ballots and 27 ballots handed over. In this category, the vote splits are 34 for Mrs Sobopha Owen and 4 for Mr Mea Bou.
• 1 proxy vote voided.

The results of the voting are:

• Mrs Owen receives 74 votes (76% gain from last year).
• Mr Bou receives 27 votes (16% retreat from last year).

Mrs Owen has been democratically elected as Casunik President for 2017-18.
